Details for Stallholders who have requested Power Supply
You have indicated a need for power during the Alexandria SundayFunday on Sunday 30 April 2023.
In order to provide power to all users who need it, and to distribute electrical loads to ensure the reliability and safety of the electrical supply, we need to know – exactly – the number type and types of equipment you are seeking to connect.
Power is provided in Alexandria Park from a stainless-steel cabinet located near the junction of the pathways, approximately 60 metres west of Wyndham Street. The Park Layout Plan shows the location.
The bollard contains two 32 Amp three-phase power sources.
These will be used to power 10 Amp and 15 Amp circuits from two power distribution boards (see below) – each supplying stallholders some distance along the pathways leading to the Wyndham Street entrances on Buckland Street and Power Avenue.
Three-phase power is not available to individual stallholders – the two three-phase circuits are dedicated to supplying 10 Amp and 15 Amp power to as many stallholders as possible.
You are required to bring extension leads that are long enough to reach the distribution boards and to accommodate the equipment you intend to connect.
If you are running any 15 Amp item, it shall be connected by a suitable 15 Amp lead – from the appliance and including any and all extension leads.
THERE WILL BE NO EXEMPTIONS TO THIS RULE. Electrical safety shall take precedence. Powerboards, leads and equipment will be rejected if they are deemed to be unsafe. No spare power or extension cables will be available to you.
